More accurate than guessing by 3 Vets!

My shorthair cat has been pulling chunks of her fur out for the last 4 years. Three different Vets diagnosed her with everything from psychosis to autoimmune disease, but none of the medications worked or they turned her into a zombie. When I asked one Vet about food allergies, he replied that he didn’t believe in food related allergies in domestic cats. Another put her on prescription hydrolyzed protein food, which only made her fur loss worse. Enter 5 Strands! Super easy to collect the fur sample and was floored with how many things she was intolerant to! After trying many clean food options, I have finally found some she likes and after only 2 months, her fur has almost completely filled in the bald spots. I’m so glad I did my own research and found this test! It has completely changed the quality of my cats life. Thank you!!

Worth Every Cent

I had problems with my pug. The only food she could tolerate was GI prescription food. A good friend told me about 5Strand so we tried it. I couldn’t believe the results. For a couple years we were feeding her all the wrong things that would upset her stomach. With the help of the results we are on the right track. Better food & treats. Very grateful for 5Strands. Their customer service is top notch too, especially when the post office “lost” the first hair sample.

Life changing

This test has changed my boy Bears life. He would constantly lick and itch. After the test we found out that the limited ingredient dog food we were feeding him 3 out of 4 ingredients he was sensitive to. After we changed foods, itching is sooo much better..Thank you
