Do you feed your pet raw & freshly cooked food? This intolerance test offers insight to pet parents cooking fresh food at home, feeding a strict raw diet, or rotating between both. The strictly raw food categories tested include bones, dairy, eggs, fruits, meats, organs, and seafood. These results reflect your pet’s current state and are not permanent. As their diet, gut health, and overall wellness improve, intolerances may lessen or disappear. Good to know
I was relieved to know most of the foods Kona is fed were not a problem. It was very informative to have the results explained as I was not aware that there could be sensitivity to the way foods are processed and not just the food itself. A worthwhile cost for the peace of mind.

5Strands gave us the answers that we desperately needed for our Golden Doodle. After the test which was so easy and the results came back so timely we had the answers that we needed. We found out she was allergic to most of the ingredients in her food so we have switched and she has gone from a dog that wouldn’t eat and now she is excited about her meals! Not what I was hoping for
I don’t want to give a bad review because this company does incredible work . It was just very misleading for me . I cook for my dog . So all this did not pertain to me . Plus it is very confusing. I can freely feed a raw egg. But two pages later under fresh food , he can’t have egg whites or yolks . What does that even mean ? I can just assume if he can’t have it raw then he probably can’t have it cooked. So I guess he goes back to kibble . Most beef cuts he can have but if it’s ground beef it’s a no, no. Totally confusing . So huge waste of my skimpy SS check.

Hi Darla, Thank you for your feedback. The Raw food items on your test are uncooked/raw. The Fresh food items are gently cooked. Our testing is very item specific. Every item we test for has a different chemical composition, physical composition, and nutritional makeup - even if it was derived from the same original ingredient. How an ingredient is processed can also change the way your pet's body reacts. This is why raw eggs and fresh egg whites/yolks can cause a different reaction.
